No, it is free to open a U-Pay account.

You may proceed in topping up your wallet through:
- U-Pay Premium Merchant (merchant with U-PAY POS device)
- U-Pay Kiosk that is nearest to your locations (you may refer to the locations of the kiosk through the U-Pay Kiosk Map at our website or through Google Maps searches "U-PAY Kiosk")

U-Cash is an instant cashback earned from your purchase with U-Pay merchants. You may use it in the next transaction with any of the accepting shops. There are 2 ways you can earn U-Cash:
a. By completing transactions with merchants that participating in U-Cash payment activities
b. Through friend’s spending
(*Friend definition: users who downloaded the App and registered a U-Pay account through the ‘Invite My Friend’ URL that sent by you.)

No. U-Cash can only be used on your next transactions. It cannot be withdrawn, or transferred to the main U-Pay Wallet, bank account or other U-Pay users and cannot be exchanged in any kind.

No. U-Cash will not be expired.

Yes, your U-Points can be expired. However, you will get a chance in prolonging the expiry date for up to 3 months by earning U-Point(s) from any successful payment before the actual expiry date of your U-Points.

Please cross check the below-mentioned issues that are generally related to this problem:
1. Insufficient balance in your U-Pay Wallet account.
2. The mobile number that you wish to send money to is not a U-Pay Wallet registered account. If your friend hasn't created a U-Pay Wallet account, you will be prompted to send a message to him/her to download and register an account.
3. The Receiver's mobile number that you wish to transfer money to might be inactive. Please confirm with your friend that his/her mobile number is still active.
4. Your mobile device is not connected to the internet. Please confirm that you have internet connection before proceeding the transfer.
